BIM Engineer II – Hybrid Role | $105K–$130K

Join a Top 20 Drywall Contractor Specializing in Large-Scale BIM Projects. We are hiring on behalf of one of Northern California’s premier wall and ceiling contractors—a nationally ranked firm known for its complex projects, industry innovation, and highly skilled Virtual Design & Construction team. We're looking for a BIM Engineer II to step into a hybrid role that’s equal parts technical execution and collaborative coordination. This is a chance to join a firm that’s been pioneering BIM in drywall for years—with direct exposure to pre-con, prefab, and field applications.

In this role, you'll:

• Build constructible, coordinated models for drywall systems
• Lead clash detection and generate detailed shop drawings
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and field foremen
• Support robotic layout, QA/QC, and scan-to-model workflows
• Work on some of the most recognizable projects in Northern California

Who we're looking for:

• You have 3+ years of experience in BIM modeling—ideally in drywall or specialty trades
• You’re confident using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Strucsoft MWF
• You understand construction sequencing and how to communicate it in 4D
• You enjoy working with field teams and aren’t afraid to ask questions or get answers
