Our Award-Winning Client—a nationally recognized aerospace leader—is actively seeking a Principal-level professional in supply chain program management. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead critical satellite and ISR supply chain operations, combining engineering coordination, supplier strategy, and high-stakes program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and external Suppliers to meet satellite program goals.

  • Create and execute sourcing strategies aligned with program and commodity targets.

  • Act as the liaison between internal engineering teams, customer stakeholders, and external vendors to manage project scope, timelines, and risk.

  • Track milestones, production readiness, and supplier metrics while optimizing inventory and delivery.

  • Contribute to engineering change reviews and apply DFx (Design for Excellence) to streamline manufacturing.

  • Manage supplier performance, contract compliance, and capacity readiness.

  • Implement and report on program-specific KPIs to ensure performance success across complex space missions.

  • Drive planning strategies supporting emerging technologies and space defense initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of supply chain or aerospace program experience, OR

  • Master’s degree with 10+ years, OR

  • 16+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Recognized subject matter expert in supply chain, program management, or aerospace logistics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of contract types: FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost-Reimbursable.

  • Prior experience as a Subcontract Cost Account Manager or similar budget-owning role.

  • Familiarity with DFx principles and new product introduction processes.

  • Past or current Secret clearance is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and program scheduling tools.

  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed.
