Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their dynamic imaging team for the evening shift. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of an esteemed medical institution known for its excellence in patient care and cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures following established clinical protocols to assist in accurate medical evaluations.
• Maintain and ensure high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes per department protocols.
• Support radiologists during biopsy and drainage procedures, ensuring procedural efficiency and patient comfort.
• Evaluate imaging results for clarity and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as required.
• Apply expert knowledge of sonographic techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Exercise professional judgment in the delivery of patient care while adhering to medical and ethical guidelines.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS registry eligibility.
  • (Certification must be obtained within 9 months of hire) OR ARRT registry with an ultrasound credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (must be completed within 30 days of hire).
• Strong technical proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation and image interpretation.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, radiologists, and healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures.
