We seek a PhD Biosensor Research Manager with proven skills developing efficient biomedical algorithms leveraging modern machine learning and optimizing algorithm design for a globally recognized Boston area research laboratory.

You will: Communicate and engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains. Guide researchers and engineers influencing product strategy … Create mathematical models based on human physiology, connecting them to sensor data to help design features and algorithms. Develop disruptive sensor solutions for cardiovascular, neurology, oncology, medical imaging, chronic disease management. Etc.
You will: Lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of advanced algorithms for analyzing complex human physiological and biomedical data, ensuring both clinical relevance and technical excellence … Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and user-centered design … Stay current with advances in algorithms, AI, and biomedical technologies to drive innovation in healthcare … Lead rapid prototyping and proof-of concept validation … Balance bold innovation with usability, technical feasibility, and awareness of market and regulatory realities … Work closely with cross-functional teams to design experiments and collect novel biosensing datasets … Identify and validate high-impact opportunities in healthcare where sensing, signal processing, and edge AI drive innovation and improve patient outcomes … Engage with industry partners and healthcare stakeholders to ensure solutions address real-world needs.
Desirable: Familiarity healthcare regulatory processes, standards, and compliance … Collaborating with thought leaders, i.e. physicians, clinicians, hospitals, conferences.

Compensation: The base salary is open, though we anticipate $210,000 - $240,00 Additional lucrative bonus, RSUs and comprehensive benefits.
