Summary:This is a full‐time hourly position in a Union Shop environment. Typical working hours will be Monday – Friday.Overtime will be available and/or mandatory at management’s discretion.Specific Duties Include: Wire various control panel products Install electrical components Interprets electrical schematics/diagrams Cut, strip, crimp and wire various AWG gages per print with high degree of accuracy. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with shop employees to promote feedback to driveproduct improvement. Projects a positive, professional image of the company in all communications with customers, vendors andsuppliers. Make recommendations to management on manufacturing processes to promote lean manufacturing. Assists in other areas of manufacturing as needed;Shears, press brakes, drill press, saw, manual punch and other fabrication equipment Other duties as assigned by Management.Skills and Qualifications: Understands and utilizes various engineering and manufacturing documents including Bill ofMaterials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams. Ability to pass background and drug test prior to employment. Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.Physical Requirements/Working Environment: Lifts 30 lbs. repeatedly and 75 lbs. occasionally Stands 90% of shift Frequently bends, twists, squats and lifts with arms extended
