In support of our client, Maderra Personnel is seeking two (2) individuals for the position of Construction Management Representative(s) in Churchill Falls, NL.

Located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Maderra Engineering Inc. provides project management, project services, engineering, technical and personnel services to the Energy, Resource, and Commercial sectors. Responsibilities:

• CMR support is required to monitor the A1 Unit Modernization in Churchill Falls
• Conduct safety orientations, participate in tailboards, prepare daily reports, and ensure that contractor adheres to the contract documents.
• Oversee safety plans, environmental plans, and contractor’s quality plan.  
• Coordinate site orientations, security passes, and accommodations to support project personnel. 
• Receive the Contractor’s personnel certifications and maintain a training matrix ensuring all persons working on-site have the required training and qualifications. 
• Coordinate Powerhouse deliveries with local Fire & Safety and Warehouse. 
• Provide logistics support as required to maintain a fluid and efficient work site. 
• Provide SWOP support for recording, assigning, monitoring and closing safety and environmental items. 
• Be a role model in exemplifying safe work and environmental stewardship. 

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Construction Management Representative
• Have training and experience in field level safety
• Possess and maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Have excellent communications skills through ad-hoc conversations, regular project update meetings with the contractor, and site reporting as requested. 
• Experience with Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Structural construction.
