Our client has an immediate need for a District Manager to join their high-performing retail chain. As the District Manager, you will oversee and optimize operations across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving exceptional performance. This role requires strong leadership, a proven ability to hold team members accountable, effective hiring strategies, and the implementation of operational best practices to achieve business objectives. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to take initiative and tackle any challenge with confidence and determination.

  

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, driving profitability and enhanced efficiency across all locations.
  • Build and sustain a culture of accountability, excellence, and teamwork throughout the organization, fostering a high-performing environment.
  • Mentor and develop store managers and team members, instilling best practices in operations, sales, and customer service.
  • Implement consistent operational standards and best practices to improve efficiency and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set and execute comprehensive performance and growth goals, ensuring competitiveness and innovation.
  • Oversee hiring and staffing processes, ensuring the recruitment of top talent while addressing performance gaps through clear accountability measures.
  • Monitor financial performance by working with the finance team to establish and manage budgets, optimize costs, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Develop and track performance metrics (KPIs) to measure progress, identify trends, and take corrective actions to meet or exceed business goals.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, escalating issues as needed and maintaining effective communication with teams.
  • Take initiative in identifying areas for improvement and step up to tackle any challenges that arise, ensuring progress and success.
  • Create detailed operational reports and updates for senior leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of multi-unit management experience in the retail industry, with a proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring, performance management, and implementing HR best practices.
  • Strong track record of designing and executing operational strategies and business plans that drive growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to hold team members accountable and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of data analysis, performance metrics, and financial management.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) and retail management systems (e.g., POS, inventory systems).
  • A proactive, growth-oriented leader who thrives on taking initiative and tackling challenges head-on to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
