Job Title: Sales Director – Renewable Energy Sector

Location: Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, New York, Miami or Europe

(Flexible near major hub)

 

A Global Software / Services company utilizing drone technology to provide Data / Analytic solutions is recruiting a Sales Director for their National Energy vertical.   This is a hunting sales role.

 

The ideal individual will have experience selling complex solutions and services to the Renewable Energy sectors:  Specifically Wind and/or Solar Farms (Must have) 

 

Some experience in Drone technology and Data Analytics knowledge, is required.

 

This is an International position and the Director will target large-scale wind and solar farms in North America and Europe.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Own and manage the sales cycle, from qualification to closing

·        Identify and pursue new opportunities

·        Develop / implement go-to-market strategies

·        Lead the proposal process

·        Articulate the company’s specific technical and commercial solutions

·        Uncover customer pain points and potential optimization opportunities

·        Plan and deliver hands-on product demonstrations, including flying drones!

·        Inform the product management and technical teams on market requirements

·        Collaborate with project teams to ensure all deliverables meet customer needs.

REQUIREMENTS

·        5+ years of proven, direct sales experience within the renewable energy sector

·        Track record of selling to large-scale solar / wind farm customers.

·        Must have a deep understanding of the solar and wind farm ecosystem

·        Must have a "hunter" mindset with passion / enthusiasm to identify and close business

·        Have an ability to navigate complex customer environments

·        Based in Europe or N. America, near a major airport, with a willingness to travel
