We are on the lookout for a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our client's team in Orangeburg, SC. This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing our HR functions within the manufacturing sector. You'll be responsible for a variety of HR tasks, ensuring our team thrives and complies with all regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain personnel records, weekly earnings, and supervisory reports
  • Provide leadership and support in areas such as recruitment, employment, personnel records, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Assist employees in resolving issues related to benefits, company policies, and regulations
  • Schedule and oversee project assignments to meet deadlines
  • Source, screen, and recommend candidates for employment; conduct new employee orientations
  • Develop, write, and update equal opportunities programs
  • Facilitate health and wellness activities
  • Promote communication and employee involvement initiatives
  • Administer local salary performance reviews and employment-related policies and procedures
  • Support the administration of Worker’s Compensation

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources in a management role
  • Ability to respond to significant inquiries or issues from employees, managers, or government agencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels
  • Experience in resolving employee relations issues and maintaining positive employee relations
  • Good understanding of Worker’s Compensation
  • SPHR or PHR certification is a plus
