Base Salary: Up to $115,000 per year - based onsite in HOT SPRINGS, ARKANSAS.
The Director of Employee Experience is responsible for shaping and driving strategic initiatives to foster a supportive and family-friendly workplace environment, ensuring effective co-worker relations and talent management practices. This role is instrumental in supporting the organization’s goals for recruitment, retention, and employee development while overseeing a team dedicated to enhancing workplace culture and policies. Reporting to senior leadership, the Director collaborates with multiple departments to align HR functions with organizational objectives, delivering strategic HR solutions to address evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
Co-Worker Relations: Formulate and recommend program goals and objectives in all areas of co-worker relations to support a positive and family-friendly workplace.
Develop, implement, and administer co-worker relations programs aimed at improving employee relations across the organization.
Talent Acquisition & Management: Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management, aligning with organizational goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand and support the organization’s strategies for staffing, recruiting, and retention.
Supervision & Staff Development: Supervise and provide direction to subordinate staff responsible for recruitment, selection, personnel policies, and in-service employee training programs.
Oversee the development of educational assistance and training initiatives to enhance employee productivity across managerial, technical, and support roles.
Employee Relations & Issue Resolution:
Investigate employee issues including working conditions, disciplinary actions, appeals, and grievances, providing guidance for resolution.
Prepare and present routine and special reports to departmental leaders on employee relations matters.
Budget & Resource Management: Develop the operating budget for the Human Resources department; ensure that all departmental functions remain within budgetary limits.
Performance & Policy Oversight: Conduct performance reviews or supervise review processes; provide recommendations on hiring, promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
Onboarding & Orientation: Direct the onboarding of new employees, assessing eligibility for hire and updating orientation processes to ensure comprehensive introduction to organizational practices.
Recruitment Strategy & Collaboration: Lead recruitment activities, including advertising and outreach, in collaboration with Nursing Administration and Ancillary Department Leaders as needed.
Leadership Communication & Training: Provide high-level communication and training to director and manager-level associates regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
Degree in Business or Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or closely related field.
Experience working in the Healthcare industry
SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) (preferred)
Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources
