The Chemical Operator is responsible for the safe operation of equipment in a manufacturing facility, material handling, quality control, accurate recordkeeping, and maintaining housekeeping standards while following company policies and safety procedures.
\nEssential Functions
\nOperate and monitor plant systems (feeds, temperatures, pressures).
\nFollow procedures and instructions from Leads and Managers.
\nSample, test, and record process streams per quality requirements.
\nAccurately weigh and add raw materials; monitor inventory.
\nLoad finished products into bulk tankers, totes, and drums.
\nAssist with maintenance preparations.
\nMaintain housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices.
\nSupport compliance with OSHA, EPA, PSM, and safety policies.
\nInput data into ERP system and complete logs/forms.
\nProvide improvement suggestions to management.
\nParticipate in EHS and training programs.
\nMust be willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
\nOther duties as assigned.
\nSkills & Qualifications
\nHigh school diploma required; community college certificate preferred.
\n1–5 years of chemical or manufacturing experience (certificate in Chemical Plant Technician training may substitute).
\nBasic Microsoft Office 365 skills.
\nKnowledge of hazardous materials handling, OSHA/EPA compliance, and emergency response training.
\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
\nAbility to work effectively in teams and interact with all plant levels.
\nFull professional English proficiency (written & verbal).
