Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Management
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to market presence in Dallas.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
Represent the firm at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions to elevate brand visibility.
Lead or support proposal development, qualifications packages, and marketing efforts with support from internal teams.
Secure work from existing clients across various sectors.
Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing team to support long-term office growth.
Structural Engineering & Project Leadership
Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) and project manager on structural engineering projects.
Oversee the development of construction documents, specifications, schedules, and technical deliverables.
Coordinate cross-discipline information to ensure quality and consistency in all project outputs.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop integrated, innovative solutions.
Perform technical design and review work, including calculations, BIM/AutoCAD review, and submittal management.
Manage office operations including staffing forecasts, budgeting, and work sharing in partnership with company leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
PE license required; SE license a plus.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in structural engineering with a proven record of project execution.
Minimum 3+ years in business development or client-facing roles.
Strong working knowledge of structural design software (RAM, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, Microsoft Suite).
Experience with ETABS, Tekla Structural Designer, and Revit preferred.
Deep understanding of building codes and structural standards.

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to represent the firm externally.
Demonstrated success in winning new work and managing client relationships.
Excellent project management skills; ability to lead multiple projects under tight timelines.
Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Financial acumen and understanding of business operations.
Established network within the Dallas AEC industry highly preferred.
Experience in Data Centers, Industrial, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing sectors is a plus.
