That's what the hiring manager told me the other day - this company has been around for 80 years and they operate in some of the most stable markets in the United States, providing essential chemistry for all kinds of industries across the United States. What they are looking for is someone who loves taking a creative approach to drive sales, with a primary focus on building new business and developing new leads. They have a very stable book of on-going business; this role will be focused on increasing the number of targets.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous experience in technical sales - preferably coming out of chemicals or something closely related
  • A demonstrated track-record of successfully pursuing and landing new business opportunities - this role will be a mix of maintaining/growing existing accounts, but the real value-add here will be the ability to bring in new accounts
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and self-drive - this role is out in the field most of the time, within a specific territory. This person will need to be able to manage their own schedule. Very little to no overnight travel. The company provides car and gas allowance
