Job Description
- Maintain school grounds including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, pruning, and general landscaping
- Perform seasonal grounds tasks (leaf removal, mulching, snow/ice clearing)
- Keep outdoor spaces clean and safe by removing trash, debris, and hazards
- Support basic facilities maintenance including painting, drywall repair, furniture assembly, and minor plumbing/electrical tasks
- Assist with event setup and breakdown on school grounds
- Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Occasionally work evenings or weekends based on school needs
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in groundskeeping or facilities maintenance
- Proficient with hand and power tools (e.g., drills, wrenches, saws)
- Minor experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or general repair
- Ability to lift/move items over 50 lbs regularly
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills (email, online ordering, etc.)
