Conflicts Attorney – Legal Risk & EthicsFull-Time | Onsite | Cleveland, OH

We're working with a respected law firm in Cleveland to find a Conflicts Attorney who can help manage ethical compliance and conflict resolution across new business, lateral hires, and client intake. This is a great opportunity for a licensed attorney with a strong attention to detail and prior experience in a law firm conflicts department.

In this role, you'll be a key part of the team that ensures the firm upholds its professional responsibilities—supporting internal counsel and attorneys in evaluating and clearing conflicts in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Tackle:

• Analyze conflict search results and flag potential ethical or business concerns

• Partner with internal counsel, attorneys, and conflicts staff to resolve complex issues

• Draft conflict waivers, engagement letters, and internal screening memoranda

• Manage the setup and maintenance of ethical walls using firm systems

• Support lateral attorney transitions and matter intake processes

• Assist with data cleanup and ongoing maintenance of the conflicts database

• Contribute to process improvement and training within the department

• Occasionally travel to other offices and work outside regular hours, as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• JD and solid understanding of legal ethics and conflict rules

• Previous experience working in a law firm conflicts department

• Intapp experience is a plus

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle a high volume of tasks with accuracy and urgency

• Team mindset and comfort collaborating across departments
