Director/VP of Account Manegement:

Business development/growth for custom market research with healthcare related businesses; growing existing accounts, bringing new life to dormant accounts and developing new relationships.

Responsibilities

·        Own client relationships and become their trusted partner

·        Uncover needs/opportunities with clients and prospects

·        Collaborate with our internal research/analytics team to design creative research solutions to meet those needs/opportunities

·        Develop proposals to articulate the business needs, research approach and to demonstrate research expertise and our ability to provide insightful, actionable results

·        Work with internal resources to appropriately cost research

·        Support research directors on design and reporting to ensure delivery of an insightful story that informs business decisions and delights clients

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in marketing research, with emphasis on custom quantitative research and qualitative experience (familiarity with choice based tasks – conjoint, MaxDiff)
  • 2+ years experience in consultative selling and/or business development
  • 2+ years experience with healthcare industry (health insurance and or health systems/hospitals).  Familiarity with government programs (Medicare/Medicaid) and provider contract relationships a plus.
  • Excellent consultative relationship building skills with existing and prospective clients
  • Collaborative working style to meet deadlines that work for clients and internal team members
  • Strategic thinker and synthesizer
  • Proven business builder with “executive level presence” who is seen as a Trusted Advisor to both clients and internal teams
  • Proactive account leader adept at project costing, and business planning
  • Enjoy meeting with clients and prospective clients. Able to travel to develop/meet and present (estimate 2-3 days per month)
  • A good motivator who can mobilize internal teams for project design, execution and delivery
  • Excellent communicator who has strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and urgent client needs in a professional manner
  • Excellent, efficient project/process leader and time manager for yourself and for teams working with you on projects
