We are recruiting on purpose a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer to join our growing teams in Orlando or Sarasota. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in structural design across a wide range of project types, including commercial, manufacturing, data centers, adaptive reuse, and public sector facilities. This role offers exposure to both technical design and client interaction, with a strong focus on mentorship and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing structures and design structural systems for a variety of building types.

  • Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and drafting technicians throughout the design process.

  • Attend project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and contractors.

  • Assist in engaging with clients and developing new business relationships.

  • Perform engineering calculations according to design codes and project specifications.

  • Utilize structural design software such as TEKLA Structural Designer, RAM Structural System, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, and RISA.

  • Create and review drawings, submittals, and structural documents.

  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure project deliverables meet quality and client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.

  • EIT certification preferred or in progress.

  • Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is required.
