CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: Orlando, FL

 

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing Construction Litigation Practice Group in Orlando. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated litigator to work on complex construction disputes, contract administration issues, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in Florida.
  • 4+ years of substantive experience in construction litigation.
  • Experience handling payment disputes, design and defect claims, and contract administration matters.
  • Strong background in alternative dispute resolution, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills with a proactive and strategic approach.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including risk management, claims analysis, and dispute resolution.
  • Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial preparation.
  • Advise clients on contract negotiation, procurement, and regulatory compliance related to large-scale infrastructure and development projects.
  • Work closely with developers, contractors, owners, and insurers on construction-related legal issues.
  • Manage multiple cases with a solutions-oriented approach and ensure high-quality client service.
