Position Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled Senior Manager of Internal Communications to join our team and play a pivotal role in crafting engaging, informative, and impactful content for our associates. As the Senior Manager of Internal Communications, you will be responsible for creating various written materials aimed at both internal employees and external stakeholders. Your work will contribute to fostering a positive employee experience, enhancing culture, and communicating timely, relevant and transparent communications to a global audience. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationships: Develop and foster relationships within the Internal Communications, HR teams, Marketing, and Division Leads and Associates across the company, build partnerships and synergy to ensure that the Internal Communications team is in the know and aware of product launches, partnerships and initiatives taking place across the brands and divisions.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling and engaging content for a range of communications including, but not limited to, employee newsletters, Company intranet, policy updates, internal announcements, training materials, and recruitment collateral.
  • Editorial Calendar: Oversee and manage the editorial calendar and messaging with consideration for all internal audiences and across internal channels, helping create stories that underscore the brand vision and strategy.
  • Employee Engagement: Collaborate with HR partners to develop content that enhances employee engagement, promotes a sense of belonging, and supports the organization's culture and values.
  • Policy Communication: Translate complex HR policies and procedures into clear, concise, and accessible language for employees. Ensure that all communications comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Internal Communication Channels: Manage and contribute to various internal communication channels, such as the Company intranet, executive & employee newsletters, digital signage, and other platforms, to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Solicit feedback from key stakeholders and continuously seek opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of our communications. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a writer, preferably in employee communications, corporate communications, or related areas.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and policies.
  • Ability to translate technical HR information into clear and engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with communication platforms and tools.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position based in our NY office.
  • Hybrid: Monday and Friday work from anywhere, Tuesday – Thursday at headquarters in NYC.
