Network Engineer - Bridgeport, WV

Responsibilities:

• Unboxing Cisco IE3300 Switches: Carefully unbox switches and inspect for any visible damage.
• Firmware Management: Check the firmware version of each switch and perform upgrades as necessary to ensure compatibility and security.
• Configuration: Apply standard configuration settings to each switch based on project requirements.
• Testing and Verification: Conduct thorough testing to ensure that the switches are configured correctly and are fully functional.
• Repacking and Shipment Preparation: Repack switches securely and prepare them for shipment to designated sites.
• Asset Inventory Management: Update and maintain the asset inventory list with detailed information about the switches.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in configuring Cisco switches.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in performing tasks.
• Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Project Duration: Availability to commit to a six-month project.
