Job Title: Zscaler Migration Architect and Engineer (Hybrid Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Zscaler Migration Architect and Engineer to lead a critical project involving the replacement of Cisco solutions with Zscaler. This hybrid remote role will involve a blend of architecture (25%) and engineering (75%) tasks. The successful candidate will devise a comprehensive migration plan, design strategies to update and optimize Zscaler, and implement best practices to ensure a smooth transition and enhanced performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Migration Architecture: Architect a detailed migration plan to transition from Cisco to Zscaler, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations and a seamless integration.
Performance Optimization: Design and implement strategies to optimize Zscaler's performance, aligning with the client's efficiency and effectiveness requirements.
Mobile Support Enhancement: Assess and enhance Zscaler’s mobile support capabilities on Windows and iOS/Android platforms, reducing dependency on Cisco solutions.
Product Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend alternative product solutions if necessary, to improve Zscaler’s mobile support functionalities.
MDM Integration: Utilize Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience, particularly with Intune, to streamline and enhance device management processes.
Azure Integration: Leverage expertise in Microsoft Azure to ensure effective integration of Zscaler within the client's Azure environment.
Best Practices Implementation: Implement best practices to optimize the user experience with Zscaler, particularly in alignment with Windows 11 environments.

Qualifications:

Required:

8-10 years of proven experience in Zscaler architecture and engineering.
8+ years of demonstrated experience in Cisco networking and security.
Familiarity with applications and integrations involving Zscaler and Cisco on Windows and iOS/Android platforms.
Proficiency in SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions, with a strong inclination towards a Cloud-first approach.
Proven track record of successfully leading migration projects from Cisco to Zscaler.
Ability to redesign, optimize, and implement best practices for Zscaler.
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), specifically using Intune.
4-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Expertise in enhancing user experiences with Zscaler on Windows 11 platforms.

Preferred:

Certification or advanced training in Zscaler, Cisco, or related technologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
