The Electronics Manufacturing Engineer provides strategic leadership for manufacturing system development, process integration, and long-term capability improvement. This role focuses on aligning production technologies, methods, and documentation with organizational goals for efficiency, scalability, and quality compliance.
· Define and implement manufacturing strategies that enhance process capability, throughput, and quality across all product lines.
· Develop, maintain, and control Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) and routing documentation to ensure consistent production practices and traceability.
· Lead DFM/DFX and NPI integration to ensure new designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
· Evaluate and implement new technologies, equipment, and automation to improve production capability and competitiveness.
· Develop long-term process roadmaps, capacity models, and capital investment plans.
· Standardize production workflows, tooling, and methods across multiple assembly lines.
· Partner with Design Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives.
· Lead cross-functional teams to implement Lean and Six Sigma projects targeting waste reduction, yield improvement, and cost savings.
· Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and process guidance to engineering and production teams.
· BS in Electrical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
· 5–10 years’ experience in electronic assembly or high-reliability manufacturing.
· Strong knowledge of SMT, reflow, and automated assembly systems.
· Demonstrated experience in process development, DFM, and capital equipment justification.
· Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 standards.
· Strong project management, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
