Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering
• 8+ years of consulting engineering experience in Wastewater and Water treatment technologies for municipal, commercial, or industrial facilities
• Production of contract drawings and specifications
• Experience in contracts and construction management
• Active Professional Engineering License (PE)
• DBIA and/or PMP certification is a plus

Job Duties

• Serve as the lead technical resource for the installation of various wastewater treatment systems
• Prepare design drawings in conjunction with Engineers and Designers
• Develop equipment specifications
• Design and develop specifications for wastewater treatment plant and conveyance systems
• Be responsible for projects from proposal to delivery
• Develop calculations for biological treatment, process pipe and pump sizes, edit CSI type specifications for project manuals
• Provide QC and PE reviews while commenting on the work of other staff members
• Work with Designers to develop drawing packages and provide mark-ups
• Work with other design professionals and contractors during the construction phase of projects
• Occasional overnight travel for projects.
