Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced real estate attorney to join their Real Estate Group in the Nashville office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong commercial real estate experience to join a growing team in a dynamic market.
Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Tennessee (required).

At least 10 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate matters, including development, investment, financing, lender representation, and leasing.
- Experience in representing national retailers, lenders, developers, and private equity or institutional investors, preferably working in a mid-size or large law firm.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills are of the highest caliber.
- Some small book of portable real estate or transaction business is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a wide range of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and leasing of various asset classes.
- Handle traditional real estate matters such as title and survey due diligence, the preparation and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, and real estate corporate governance (including joint ventures).
- Provide lender representation in real estate finance transactions, offering counsel to national and institutional clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's national real estate platform to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
- Represent national retailers, restaurant operating companies, lenders, developers, corporate end users, private equity, and institutional investors, and other deal sponsors in the full gamut of investment and development transactions throughout the country and involving all asset classes.
