About This Role
Metal Manufacturer, located in Allegan, MI, is seeking to a CNC Machinist to their team. As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be an essential part of a team that delivers high-quality, made-to-spec components across a range of industries. You’ll work with advanced machinery, tight tolerances, and a supportive crew that values quality work and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing as a CNC Machinist:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) according to job specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
-
Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within required tolerances
-
Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
-
Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency
-
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
-
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols
What you need CNC Machinist:

You have 2+ years of CNC machining experience (or equivalent training)

You’re confident with reading technical drawings and using precision measurement tools

You have a strong eye for detail and take pride in producing top-quality work

You’re a problem-solver who can think critically and adjust on the fly

You work well both independently and as part of a team
