Manufacturing Engineer– Precision Machining

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer with experience in a machining environment to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has NX experience with hands-on experience in machining processes, process optimization, and production support. What you are doing as a Manufacturing Engineer:
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes specific to machining operations, turning, milling, and other machining techniques. Ensure processes are efficient, cost-effective, and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Work closely with the production team to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth workflow. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that all machined parts meet customer specifications and tolerances.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve production times, and increase efficiency. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including implementing new tools, processes, and best practices.
- Select and maintain appropriate tooling for machining processes, ensuring that tools are properly calibrated and maintained to maximize their lifespan and performance. Oversee the proper use and upkeep of machining equipment.

Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth product transitions from design to production. Collaborate to resolve technical issues and enhance manufacturing processes.
- Maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports on process improvements. Monitor and report on key manufacturing metrics, such as production rates, downtime, and yield.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations in the machining environment. Promote a culture of safety within the team and ensure that all personnel are trained on proper safety procedures.
What you need as a Manufacturing Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar field required.
- 5 years of experience working as an Engineer within a machining environment.
- Familiarity with NX CAD/CAM software and the ability to create, edit, and optimize machine programs.
- Solid understanding of machining materials, cutting tools, fixturing, and process parameters.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues (8D, Fishbone, RCA).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work and improving manufacturing efficiency.
