About the Manufacturing Product Engineer Role
Career Transition is supporting a trusted name in aerospace manufacturer, looking for a Manufacturing Product Engineer to lead ERP-driven process optimization and product lifecycle management in a fast-paced machining environment.
 
Manufacturing Product Engineer Responsibilities:
 
- Act as the technical link between engineering, production, and ERP system administration to support seamless communication and workflow.
 
- Develop, configure, and maintain ERP processes including BOMs, routings, work orders, and inventory controls.
 
- Ensure product data is accurately translated into ERP systems and maintained throughout the production process.
 
- Identify and implement ERP workflow enhancements to streamline manufacturing operations and improve efficiency.
 
Manufacturing Product Engineer Requirements:
 
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Product or Manufacturing Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems like Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, BOMs, MRP, and routings
