A leading manufacturer of industrial and automotive equipment are adding to their manufacturing and operations team! They have an opening for a Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift.

This role is responsible for managing daily production operations to ensure that customer requirements and production goals are consistently achieved. This role involves implementing action plans and objectives for the manufacturing area.

Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations (EPA and OSHA). Initiate safety improvements and ensure all associates are trained in the safe use of production equipment.
• Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to associates, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Develop and implement departmental goals and action plans.
• Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and develop staff, conduct performance evaluations, and initiate disciplinary actions as needed.
• Coordination and Resource Allocation: Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet daily production demands. Assign workloads and allocate resources based on staffing and production needs.
• Standard Procedures: Establish and enforce standard workflows and procedures for production personnel. Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities, supporting efforts to reduce waste and energy consumption.

Production Supervisor Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in production supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Skills: Mechanical aptitude, ability to read prints and inspect parts, strong computer and math skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership: Ability to supervise, motivate, coach, counsel, and train staff. Create and maintain a teamwork environment.
