Compensation DOE: up to $80K

The Staff Accountant will collaborate with members of the corporate accounting team and operations to ensure management has accurate and timely financial information for making sound business decisions.

Manufacturing Accounting desired.

Staff Accountant SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to Director of Finance and works in collaboration to the Senior Staff Accountant.
• Prepares month end close entries, accruals, supporting schedules and associated reporting, prepares account reconciliations and reclassifications, files taxes and performs various other monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting duties.
• Prepares consolidated plant financial statements.
• Assist in various financial analysis for decision making support.
• Collaborate closely with parent company and other plant locations in achieving company goals
• Works on projects with limited guidance and reports findings to Senior Staff Accountant.
• Strive for continuous process improvement
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Staff Accountant POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance.
• 4 years of experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. 
• Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. 
• Must have solid Microsoft Excel skills.  Experience with PowerBI and JD Edwards a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all people.
