Maintenance Technician

Job description

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to

maintain corrugated machines and other equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing

environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by

observing all health and safety guidelines. 1-3 years of Experience is preferred. This is a

career position, and the employer is willing to train and develop the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Basic Electrical - can check fuses and familiar with

multimeter, will train 3-phase and 480V: and Mechanical Systems – how to use

hand tools to open inspection panels and troubleshoot potential failed parts. and

Hydraulic Fluid System – know what kind of hydraulic oil a forklift uses and where to

add it

  • Exposure to reading schematics and troubleshooting various pneumatic and

hydraulic systems

  • General knowledge of PLC’s and motors
  • Working knowledge of computers in an industrial environment
  • Reliable self-starter, good team player
  • Corrugated experience is preferred; however, all are encouraged to apply. This is a

career position, and the employer is willing to train and develop the right candidate.

  • Schedule: Applicants must be willing to work 12.5-hour 3-2-2 Panama

schedule; will not switch between days/nights once assigned. Will work 8 hour day

shifts probably if hired before change to Panama scheduling is done. Overtime as

needed.

Skills

  • Proven experience as maintenance technician
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in relevant field will be a plus
