An affordable housing organization is seeking a Leasing Services Manager to oversee leasing operations for both residential and commercial properties in Sacramento. It is an On-site role. This role involves supervising leasing staff, managing affordable housing programs, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations. The Leasing Services Manager will coordinate property management activities, handle leasing for market rate and affordable units, and maintain high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
Leasing Operations: Oversee apartment rentals, parking rentals, housing assistance programs, and commercial leases. Establish standardized processes and ensure consistent coordination of leasing efforts in line with fair housing laws and regulatory agreements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs and regulatory agreements. Monitor and prepare necessary reports to meet regulatory requirements.
Contract Management: Negotiate and execute rental agreements for commercial spaces. Manage and centralize commercial property leases, update residential leases, and market commercial vacancies.
Team Supervision: Supervise leasing staff, including leasing agents and administrative support. Manage staff performance and provide training as needed.
Budget Coordination: Collaborate with the Resident Services Manager to develop and manage the Property Management Services operating budget.
Reporting: Prepare reports for presentation and analysis. Coordinate with internal partners and ensure timely follow-up on applications and referrals.
Ideal Candidate:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in property management or a related field, with 3-4 years in property management and experience in affordable housing programs.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of supervising staff, managing leasing operations, and leading a team effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in property management software and solid financial management skills.
Compensation: $70,000 to $75,000 annually, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, 15 paid holidays, free life insurance, a 457 plan, and 401(k) options for public employees.
