Aspire Talent Solutions is partnered with an incredible CNC Machine Tool Builder on their search for a CNC Service Technician for the New England region! As a CNC Field Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting customers by maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Travel to customer sites through New England to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools, controls, and related equipment.

·       Perform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for performance improvement.

·       Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.

·       Utilize manuals, technical documentation, and internal/vendor support to troubleshoot complex problems.

·       Clearly communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations to customers.

·       Accurately complete and submit service and installation reports.

·       Ensure customer commitments are met with a high standard of professionalism and technical excellence.

·       Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.

·       Stay informed on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training and technical seminars.

·       Maintain deep technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.

·       Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

·       High School Diploma or GED from a technical school required

·       Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience repairing CNC machinery.

·       Proficient with precision measuring tools such as dial indicators and micrometers.

·       Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.

·       Strong understanding of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.

·       Advanced troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail and technical accuracy.

·       Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.

·       Valid driver’s license required and ability to be a ROAD WARRIOR with travel up to 100% throughout New England

·       Comfortable interacting professionally under pressure with customers and colleagues.
