Our client, a Dallas law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join its team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience supporting litigation attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys

  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence

  • File legal documents electronically with federal and state courts (e-filing)

  • Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and physical

  • Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances

  • Track deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports

  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and outside counsel

  • Perform general office duties including time entry and billing assistance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation legal secretary in a law firm setting

  • Strong knowledge of federal and Texas state court rules and procedures

  • Proficiency with e-filing systems (e.g., PACER, ECF, and state e-filing portals)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), document management systems, and legal billing software

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines

  • A proactive and professional attitude with a commitment to client service
