Our client, a growing Houston area law firm, is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function at their firm. The HR Manager will play a key role in fostering a professional, compliant, and high-performing work environment. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits, and HR policy development.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:•    Recruitment & Staffing:o    Oversee recruitment and onboarding of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff.o    Partner with attorneys to understand staffing needs and coordinate effective hiring strategies.•    Employee Relations:o    Serve as a trusted resource for employees and management on HR-related issues.o    Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts and conduct internal investigations as needed.•    Performance Management:o    Coordinate performance review processes for both legal and administrative teams.o    Assist partners and supervisors with coaching and performance improvement plans.•    Compliance & Policy Management:o    Ensure the firm is compliant with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.o    Maintain and update employee policies specific to the legal profession.•    Compensation & Benefits:o    Administer employee compensation, including bonuses and merit increases, in alignment with market standards and firm goals.•    HR Systems & Data:o    Maintain HRIS systems and ensure accuracy of employee records.o    Generate reports and analytics for leadership on key HR metrics.________________________________________Qualifications:•    5+ years of progressive HR experience, within a law firm setting.•    Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.•    Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.•    Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.•    Experience with legal-specific recruiting and performance metrics a plus.
