Duties include:

• Experience in first party property damage litigation, “bad faith” claims, and insurance coverage litigation is a plus but not required.
• Draft and review motions, briefs, discovery documents, pleadings and other legal documents.
• Experience with motion practice, discovery disputes, trial preparation, taking and defending depositions.
• Trial experience either as a 1st chair or 2nd chair is a plus but not required.
• Team driven and forward-thinking mentality.
• The ideal candidate is also internally driven and detail oriented.
• Good communication skills and able to talk with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Must be a team player ready to come in and immediately begin contributing to the team.
• Advocacy experience.

Qualifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas – TX Attorney License.
• Graduate of an ABA accredited law school.
• Authorized to work in the USA. Juris doctorate degree in law or related field.
• 1 to 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, working on civil cases and/or representing clients in court proceedings.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and time management skills is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to the team.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to stay on top of tasks and deadlines.
