Lead Process Engineer – PET Plastics (Thermoforming & Extrusion)

Location: Etobicoke, ON
Salary: Competitive Salary + Full Benefits (after 90-day probation)

Aleader in custom thermoformed sustainable PET food packaging, is seeking a high-level Lead Process Engineer to join our team in Etobicoke. This senior role is critical to advancing innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence in our PET extrusion and thermoforming operations.

As Lead Process Engineer, you will oversee and optimize PET resin handling, sheet extrusion, and thermoforming processes, ensuring high efficiency, top product quality, and compliance with industry regulations. You will drive continuous improvement projects focused on scrap reduction, throughput, energy efficiency, and sustainability, while mentoring technical staff and collaborating across supply chain, quality, and operations.

10+ years of process engineering experience.
Strong technical expertise in PET sheet extrusion and thermoforming operations
Proven record with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives
Familiarity with food packaging regulations (FDA, CFIA, CSA, OHSA)
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
