Our client, a prestigious Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented Managing Associate Attorney to join their cutting-edge Litigation Business team. Available in multiple locations, this role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes commercial, product liability, mass tort, and energy-related disputes in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction (CA, DC, IL, MA, NY, OR, TX, WA, WV).
4–6 years of substantive litigation experience in complex commercial litigation, mass tort, product liability, and/or energy-related matters.
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple aspects of case strategy and execution.
Experience handling depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and managing discovery.
Courtroom experience and a demonstrated interest in taking on increased responsibility.
A team-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach to litigation practice.
Represent clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters across industries, including energy (renewable and conventional), tech, pharmaceuticals, and more.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and develop litigation strategy.
Participate in all aspects of discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review/production.
Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Make court appearances at hearings, participate in mediations, and support trial preparation and strategy.
Collaborate across offices with a national team of highly regarded litigators and contribute to mentorship and firm development efforts.
