Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties and an ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
• Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently while adhering to environmental guidelines.
• Assist with residential painting and minor repairs as needed to enhance facility appearance.
• Support commercial cleaning efforts during events or high-traffic periods to maintain cleanliness.
• Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in warehouses or production areas as required.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained properly and report any maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial services or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, waxing, and polishing is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the shift.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean environment and addressing issues promptly.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday - Friday
• 11 am - 7 pm
• $18 - $20 DOE
