Integration Engineer

About the Position:

Join The company as an Integration Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing complex electro-hydraulic-mechanical systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing mounting structures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and design solutions
  • Design and develop mounting structures, brackets, and adapters for proper alignment and durability
  • Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using Solidworks
  • Collaborate with other engineers to optimize system design for maximum performance and efficiency
  • Design and develop integrated systems meeting customer specifications
  • Develop system schematics and drawings for proper installation and operation
  • Identify and address potential design issues
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Manage project integration timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Maintain technical documentation and reports on design changes and updates

You are:

  • A strong engineer with expertise in assembly design and integration
  • Able to manage the integration of complex systems, optimizing size, weight, complexity, cost, and function
  • A dreamer, an innovative, out-of-the-box thinker with an analytical mind
  • Degreed (MS or Ph.D. a plus) engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Technically deep, with experience in rotary equipment, thermofluid systems, combustion engines, and/or UAVs
  • Proficient with design and simulation tools (Solidworks a plus)
  • An exceptional verbal and written communicator
  • Creative and up for a challenge
