Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished legal professional to join our team, focusing on complex corporate disputes and commercial litigation. This position is pivotal, engaging in high-stakes matters for a diverse clientele including Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, and leaders in the financial services, technology, and real estate sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement robust litigation strategies for intricate financial, commercial, and contractual disputes.
  • Oversee extensive discovery processes, including management of e-discovery and preparation for depositions.
  • Draft, argue, and secure favorable outcomes on critical motions, including dispositive motions and preliminary injunctions.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to a high-caliber client base, ensuring comprehensive representation in both court and advisory capacities.
  • Collaborate with partners on cases intersecting with bankruptcy/insolvency proceedings and large-scale real estate disputes.
  • Mentor junior associates and utilize advanced legal technology to enhance litigation support efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top-tier ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
  • A minimum of three years of post-J.D. experience specializing in high-value commercial litigation and business disputes.
  • Proven expertise in drafting complex pleadings, managing document production, and engaging in substantive motion practice.

Preferred Skills:

  • Outstanding academic credentials, including Law Review or similar achievements.
  • Experience with Federal Court practices, particularly in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
  • Specialized knowledge in financial restructuring, insolvency law, or complex real property litigation.
  • Excellent ability to condense large volumes of information into clear, persuasive legal arguments.
