We’re hiring a BAS Controls Sales Engineer in Portland, OR to grow business with contractors, engineers, and facility teams across the region.

Impact

  • Win new projects and grow customer accounts

  • Build long-term relationships with GCs, MEPs, and end users

  • Drive revenue by promoting smart building solutions

  • Help clients solve real-world facility challenges

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new business opportunities

  • Grow existing customer relationships and upsell services

  • Meet regularly with contractors, engineers, and facility managers

  • Develop bids, proposals, and sales presentations

  • Track pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly sales goals

  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams

  • Stay active in the local construction and engineering community

Requirements
Must-Haves

  • 3+ years selling BAS or mechanical/controls solutions

  • Strong network with GCs, mechanicals, or facility managers

  • Confident in business development and customer meetings

  • Based in the Portland area with stable job history

  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiar with systems like Tridium, Distech, Siemens, ALC, Johnson Controls

  • Background in HVAC, controls, or technical sales

  • Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking
