Job Posting – Contract Administrator
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Contract Administrator role is responsible for shepherding all project contracts with our customers. This role will be part of our Shared Services department and report to that director. This role will facilitate all contract comments between our customers and internal RL Siteworx team members in the Estimating and Project Mgmt. departments, as well as Executive Leadership. The Contract Administrator should enjoy managing a large volume of details across multiple concurrent projects/contracts.

PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT

OBJECTIVES
• Create, maintain, and organize a system to process all contracts.
• Shepheard all contract comments from all internal and external par es.
• Compile all comments into one document and send to customers.
• Log all activity into Contract Log trackers for each project.
• Maintain single source for all MSAs and log which customers have MSAs with RL.
• Maintain log of all projects that allow for early release of retainage
• Maintain database of common comments made during contract review
• Ensure that RL can return contract review comments to customers in a very  timely
manner.
• Manage high volumes of concurrent contracts with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure all contracts align with RL’s risk profile and requirements.
 
COMPETENCIES
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Able to shift between activities frequently and smoothly
• Comfortable with holding multiple people accountable for their part of a process
• Strong working knowledge of construction contracts (lump sum, unit price, GMP, and cost-plus) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
• Highly skilled with PDF editors, MS Word, and MS Outlook. Familiar with Vista
Viewpoint, Smartsheets, or similar project management tools is a plus.
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business Administration, Accounting, or
related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in contract administration, project administration, or construction management, preferably in the heavy civil, dirtwork, or utilities sectors.
• Proven experience with reviewing and redlining contracts, managing legal/financial
terms, and coordinating between internal teams and customers.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to sit for long periods while reviewing documents and working on a computer.
• Frequent use of hands/fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
 
COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary from $65,000 to $85,000 annually
