\nOur Client is seeking a Machine Assembly Subassembly Technician to join their team and support the build of high-precision machinery. The candidate will assemble subcomponents according to engineering documentation, ensure compliance with quality standards, and contribute to process improvements in an innovative manufacturing environment.
\nJob Responsibilities:
\n● Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies following engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, and hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
● Use precision tools (torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators, digital levels) to meet tolerances.
● Operate overhead cranes to move heavy components during assembly.
● Ensure subassemblies meet quality requirements and are ready for final machine integration.
● Read, convert, and measure in both imperial (inch) and metric systems.
● Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to achieve production goals.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with lean principles.
● Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
● Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing input and feedback.
Requirements:
\n● Minimum 2 years assembly experience or 5 years in manufacturing, machine tool service, or maintenance.
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements (reaching, bending, etc.).
● Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and part documentation.
● Proficiency with precision measuring devices; strong attention to detail.
● Familiarity with documentation, part lists, and drawings helpful.
● Electrical wiring assembly experience a plus.
