To supervise the duties and direct tasks of staff in the production of manufactured products and organize and monitor workflow. Reports KPIs to Manufacturing Manager to determine staff workload and priority for the week.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Associate Lead is responsible for leading, planning, organizing and directing all daily activities of the various manufacturing processes in the operation. Monitors productivity levels, delivery schedules and staff scheduling. Serves as first point of contact for addressing machinery issues and repair requests. Monitors raw materials inventories to ensure sufficient levels are on hand to complete scheduled production.
Essential Functions
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel
Oversees the daily workflow for staff and skilled employees
Maintains acceptable productivity and quality levels
Monitors and documents daily KPIs for reporting to Manufacturing Manager
Serves as first point of contact for machinery issues including embroidery machines, rotary engravers and DTG Printer
Serves as backup to other Manufacturing Associate Lead aiding in duties including Digitizing
Coordinates with equipment vendors for replacement or repair issues
Monitors raw materials inventory levels
Maintains a safe working environment
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Competencies
Knowledge and experience in manufacturing production processes and machine operations, inventory management principles and practices; safety protocols and regulations specific to the warehouse environment, warehouse equipment operation and maintenance procedures
Skilled in motivating and inspiring team members, delegating tasks, effectively and providing guidance; resolving issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing disruptions to workflow; prioritizing tasks, managing multiple deadline; maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.
Ability to accomplish work results, establish priorities, monitor progress, revise, schedules, resolve, problems, report results of the processing flow on shift production summaries; communicate clearly and concisely with team, supervisors and other stakeholders, build rapport with team members, foster a positive work environment and handle conflict effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience using Wilcom Embroidery software, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop highly preferred.
