LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Location: Huntington, WV
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate Attorney to join their Litigation practice group in Huntington. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving practice with experienced litigators who handle a diverse range of cases.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in West Virginia (strongly preferred).
- 3+ years of substantive experience in commercial and/or complex litigation.
- Skilled in preparing for, taking, and defending depositions.
- Proficient in drafting dispositive, expert, and/or discovery motions.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
- Interest in general corporate and transactional matters beyond litigation is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a variety of litigation matters, including commercial litigation, class actions/mass torts, product liability, appellate work, and more.
- Participate in litigation proceedings at both the state and federal levels.
- Develop case strategies and manage all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored legal solutions.
