The Maintenance Supervisor must have knowledge of General Maintenance, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic, Electrical and Electronic Systems, and Welding (TIG, STICK). Supervisors must be able to work both as part of a team and individually. Must comply with all safety rules, lockout tagout (LOTO), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

\nLead up to 10 team members to perform daily tasks and complete required paperwork
\nOrganize and implement mechanical and engineering projects
\nEnsure all assigned daily PM’s and paperwork are completed
\nMaintain production lines in good mechanical order
\nSupport other departments (Production, Quality) as needed
\nAlways follow GMP’s and Safety Practices
\nSet up, visually inspect, test, and tear down machinery
\nListen for unusual sounds from machines/equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose issues
\nDismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired parts
\nClean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
\nRepair and maintain the physical structures of the facility

\nMust be 18 years of age or older

\nAt least 1 year in a supervisory position
\nHigh school diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience and/or training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment; OR 5 years direct experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance environment
\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of personnel and contractors
\nAbility to operate forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT)
\nAbility to read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and interpret equipment manuals
\nStrong communication skills in English (oral and written)
\nFlexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
\nExperience in a fast-paced industrial setting
\nLeadership training
\nVocational/Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in maintenance or technical field
\nSlaughter/meat industry experience strongly preferred
\nBi-lingual (Spanish, Karenni, French, Creole) highly desirable
