TAX ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS PRACTICE

Our client, a highly-regarded AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Tax Associate Attorney to join their Business Transactions Practice Group in Tampa. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated tax matters within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- LL.M. in Taxation is required.

Active Bar Admission in Florida.
- Strong candidates from major markets that are seeking to relocate to Tampa will be considered.
- 2–4 years of substantive experience in tax law.
- Exposure to complex business transactions, securities offerings, corporate finance, and joint ventures is a plus.
- Large law firm experience highly preferred.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team in a client-service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on federal and state tax implications of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures.
- Assist with tax planning, compliance, and structuring strategies for corporations, partnerships, and private equity clients.
- Draft and review transactional tax-related documents, including partnership agreements and operating agreements.
- Conduct legal research on tax regulations and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
- Work closely with corporate attorneys on securities, finance, and business transactions.
