Our A rated client company is a top Medical Malpractice insurance provider, independently owned and physician-founded. Their continued growth and success makes them a strong competitor in their specialty industry.  They provide superior medical malpractice coverage for a 6 state west region. 

They have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Claims Manager to lead a team of 4 Claim Reps, handling individual and group physicians as well as various health facilities.

This Manager will work closely with Claims leadership to ensure compliance with department guidelines, assist in achieving department goals, meeting deadlines, setting budgets hiring, training and coaching new claims rep hires.

Company prefers local AZ candidates but will consider those out of state, but offer no relo assistance.

Basic Requirements:

• 5 plus years of professional liability claim experience with a qualified insurance carrier.  Those with Med Mal Claims experience, specifically, are preferred.
• 2 years of leadership and management 
• Bachelor degree.
• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, and must be able to meet insurability requirements.
• 10 % -25% Travel required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
