QA Manager

Location: South Whitley, IN

Pay: Competitive base salary + bonus

Our client, a well-established commercial construction company, is seeking a QA Manager to oversee all aspects of safety, quality, and warranty programs for the plant and field operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this individual will lead efforts to uphold the highest standards of workmanship, compliance, and customer satisfaction while fostering collaboration across teams.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who takes pride in building strong processes, mentoring teams, and ensuring every product meets rigorous quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Oversight

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve product standards and compliance processes.
  • Evaluate processes and materials for consistency and performance.
  • Oversee state insignia processes, ensuring compliance and timely application.
  • Interpret and apply factory versus field standards, including materials and installation practices.

 

Warranty Management

  • Enforce warranty standards and oversee all service requests.
  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers, site personnel, and subcontractors to resolve warranty concerns promptly.
  • Provide timely feedback to production teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Use warranty interactions as opportunities to enhance service and strengthen client relationships.

 

Safety Leadership

  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability across the organization.
  • Oversee OSHA, EPA, and workers’ compensation compliance and reporting.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs.

 

Administrative Leadership

  • Support team-building initiatives and cross-department collaboration.
  • Step into other departmental responsibilities when necessary to ensure operational continuity.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to train, coach, and motivate.
  • In-depth knowledge of state, OSHA, and EPA compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for site inspections and audits (minimal).
