Your role with the company:

The Forming Shift Supervisor is a critical frontline leader reporting to the Forming Manager. This position ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production of glassware to ensure the plant is manufacturing best in class glass products.  12-hour shift schedule.  (3 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off).  Off every other weekend on this schedule.

What you will be doing:

• Lead and supervise forming operations to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
• Train, direct, and support production teams in forming, machine setup, adjustments, and inspections.
• Review product specs and ensure conformance using measurement and inspection tools.
• Oversee forming processes including heating, shaping, and pressing glass products.
• Manage departmental workflows, scheduling, and recordkeeping for production data.
• Participate in furnace rebuilds, tank maintenance, and emergency repairs as needed.
• Support apprenticeship programs and developmental training for employees.

Background profile:

• 3 - 5+ years supervisory/management experience in a 24X7 Glass Manufacturing  plant.
• Glass Forming experience including IS Machine experience required.
• Strong knowledge of plant safety standards and production processes.
• Working knowledge of quality programs; computer proficiency required.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
